Transaction Cancellation
Users may cancel a scheduled transaction before the cheque is deposited in the bank. A cancellation fee of Rs. 50 will apply for transactions cancelled before the cheque enters the deposit process.
Cancellation After Courier Pickup
If the cheque has already been collected by the courier partner, cancellation is still possible. Additional courier charges will apply to cover the logistics involved in returning the cheque.
Failed Courier Pickup
If the courier partner fails to collect the cheque due to courier-side issues, the transaction will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Users will not be charged extra service fees in such cases.
Cheque Verification Requirement
All cheque transactions require approval from the CREGO Cheque Verification Team. Until verification is completed, the transaction will not proceed and courier pickup cannot be scheduled.
Cheque Bounce Policy
If a cheque is deposited but later dishonoured or bounced by the bank, the CREGO service fee is non-refundable because the service already covers cheque collection, courier logistics, administrative processing, and bank deposit coordination.
Lost Cheque During Courier Transit
If a cheque is lost during courier transportation, CREGO will assist the user in filing a claim with the courier company and reimburse bank stop-cheque charges incurred by the customer. CREGO is not responsible for the cheque amount.
Cheque Lost at CREGO Office
If a cheque is lost after reaching the CREGO office but before deposit, CREGO will immediately notify both parties and request issuance of a replacement cheque.
If the customer cannot be reached, the transaction will be cancelled and the cheque will be returned to the respective party. CREGO will bear courier charges required for returning the cheque, but is not responsible for the cheque value.
Deposit Failure Due to CREGO Error
If CREGO fails to deposit the cheque on the scheduled date due to internal operational issues, the matter will be handled case by case by CREGO administration.
Users may reschedule the deposit by editing the deposit date. A Rs. 100 rescheduling fee will apply.
Users may cancel the transaction. A Rs. 300 cancellation fee will apply, including courier charges required to return the cheque to the respective party.
Non-Refundable Service Fees
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy, all CREGO service fees are non-refundable once the cheque collection process has begun.
Policy Updates
CREGO reserves the right to modify this policy when necessary. Updated policies will be published on the platform. Continued use of CREGO services indicates acceptance of updated policies.
