Platform Identity
CREGO is a technology platform designed to facilitate cheque collection, deposit coordination, and transaction monitoring services for businesses and individuals.
CREGO is not a bank, NBFC, escrow service, payment settlement operator, or financial intermediary. CREGO does not issue financial instruments or guarantee payments.

User Eligibility
To use CREGO services, users must meet the following requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of India
- Provide valid identity and business verification documents
- Complete required KYC verification
- Submit Aadhaar, PAN, GST details, business information, and bank account details where applicable
Description of CREGO Collections Service
CREGO Collections enables users to schedule secure cheque collection and deposit services.
- User uploads a cheque photo while initiating a transaction.
- Cheque pickup is scheduled through third-party courier partners.
- The cheque is delivered to the CREGO processing office.
- CREGO deposits the cheque into the seller's bank account on the cheque date.
- Deposit proof, such as a bank counterfoil image, is uploaded to the platform.
Cheque Issuance Responsibility
All cheques uploaded on the platform remain the legal responsibility of the issuing party. Users must ensure the beneficiary name, cheque amount, bank account, signature, and funds availability are correct.
CREGO bears no liability for cheque errors or insufficient funds.
Bank Account Details Responsibility
Users may be required to add bank account details for account setup, verification, cheque deposit coordination, refunds, or service-related settlements.
Users must ensure that the account holder name, bank name, account number, IFSC code, and other bank details provided on the platform are accurate and belong to an account they are authorized to use.
CREGO is not responsible for delays, failed deposits, failed refunds, or losses caused by incorrect, outdated, or unauthorized bank account details submitted by the user.
Cheque Processing Timeline
Users must schedule cheque pickup at least 7 days before the cheque date. For example, if today is March 1, the earliest allowed cheque date will be March 8.
Cheques are deposited on the exact date written on the cheque.
Cheque Storage & Security
Collected cheques are securely stored at the CREGO processing office until the deposit date. CREGO implements reasonable security measures to safeguard physical cheques.
CREGO Transaction Meter (CTM)
CTM displays recent cheque transaction status, including the last 15 cheque transactions, cleared cheques, bounced cheques, and deposit status.
CTM is a transaction tracking tool only and does not constitute a financial credit score.
Cheque Bounce Policy
If a cheque is dishonoured, the matter may be governed by the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, including Section 138.
CREGO may assist users by providing access to SAMA Online Dispute Resolution and external legal professionals. Legal proceedings remain the responsibility of the affected parties, and CREGO does not guarantee recovery outcomes.
Service Fees, Refunds & Cancellations
CREGO charges a service fee per cheque transaction. The fee may be paid by the buyer or the seller and covers logistics, processing, and platform operations.
Service fees are non-refundable once the cheque collection process has begun, including in cases where a cheque is dishonoured, unless explicitly stated in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Users may cancel a scheduled transaction before the cheque is deposited. A cancellation fee may apply depending on the processing stage.
Prohibited Activities & Platform Suspension
CREGO may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, repeated cheque bounce incidents, or violation of platform rules.

- Providing false identity information
- Using the platform for illegal activities
- Impersonating another person or business
- Repeated cheque bounce incidents or other suspicious activity
Limitation of Liability
CREGO shall not be liable for financial losses between users, cheque dishonour, payment disputes, bank processing delays, courier delays, or business losses.
CREGO functions solely as a technology platform facilitating cheque collection logistics.
Intellectual Property
All software, platform design, algorithms, trademarks, and content related to CREGO remain the exclusive property of Crego Technologies Pvt Ltd. Unauthorized copying or misuse is prohibited.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Disputes should first be raised with CREGO support for internal mediation. If unresolved, disputes may proceed to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie with the courts of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Policy Updates
CREGO may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of revised terms.
