CREGO Transaction Meter (CTM)
CTM displays the last 15 cheque transactions, cheques successfully cleared, cheques bounced, and deposit status so users can monitor recent transaction performance and reliability history.
Secure Cheque Custody
Cheques collected through CREGO are stored in secure facilities at the CREGO processing office until the deposit date.
CREGO does not assume financial liability for the cheque value while holding the instrument. The cheque remains the legal responsibility of the issuing and receiving parties.
User Authorization Responsibility
Users must ensure they are authorized to submit or upload a cheque. If a cheque is uploaded without proper authorization, responsibility lies entirely with the user who uploaded the cheque.
Cheque Authenticity & Funds Availability
CREGO verifies physical cheque details such as signature presence, cheque date, cheque amount, and cheque condition.
CREGO does not verify bank balance, account validity, or funds availability. Cheque clearance depends on the issuing bank and the drawer's account balance.
Multiple Cheques Per Transaction
CREGO allows users to split a transaction across multiple cheques when required, helping users structure payments according to business or personal needs.
Suspicious Transaction Monitoring
CREGO monitors transactions for unusual or suspicious behaviour, including unusually large cheque amounts, repeated cheque bounces, and irregular transaction patterns.
If suspicious activity is detected, the transaction may be temporarily frozen and CREGO may conduct an internal review before proceeding.
Limited Platform Liability
The maximum liability of CREGO for platform-related operational errors is limited to the service fee paid for that transaction. CREGO will not be responsible for cheque dishonour losses, business losses, or financial disputes between parties.
Fraud Prevention
CREGO strictly prohibits fake cheque uploads, fraudulent financial activity, identity impersonation, and misuse of the platform.
If such activity is detected, CREGO may suspend the account, permanently ban the user, or report the activity to authorities where required.
Third-Party Service Providers
CREGO may use trusted external partners including courier companies, legal assistance platforms such as SAMA ODR, and external legal professionals. These providers operate independently, and CREGO is not responsible for delays or operational failures caused by third-party services.
Transparent Transaction Records
CREGO maintains secure digital records including cheque images, transaction timestamps, courier tracking data, and deposit confirmation proof to support transparency and dispute handling.
User Safety Commitment
CREGO is committed to transparency, secure cheque handling, fair dispute resolution, and responsible financial practices. Users are encouraged to transact responsibly and ensure all cheque instruments issued through the platform are valid and authorized.
